Grain Primer Notes is published as a written resource. There is no reader inbox and no enquiry line.

How to Choose a Firm

The usual checks are still the ones that matter. Local licensing records, trade association listings, and quotes from more than one established firm with references that can be checked.

Guides, Not Services

The guides explain painting contractor work; they do not provide it. Hiring somebody is a separate matter the reader arranges directly with a local firm.

Accuracy Over Time

Published guidance is reviewed and amended over time. Accuracy is the only thing a reference site has to offer, and a page out of date on a code requirement is worse than no page at all.
